Prior to tuition commencing, we will arrange an initial home visit to meet with parents and your child at a convenient time. This is an opportunity:

• For you and your child to meet us in a relaxed context 
• For us to gather further information regarding your child's learning needs, preferred learning style, hobbies and interests
• For us to describe what we strive for in terms of supporting your child

This part of the service is free of charge.

The first session is an assessment session which allows us to find out your child's current learning level and areas of need in order to correctly support your child.

Sessions are delivered in 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour, and involve:

Personalised feedback relates to your child's achievements within the session and areas of focus for the next session. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share any concerns you may have.

You will also receive a detailed Phonics Report each half term, formally outlining your child's achievements and areas of focus, as well as strategies and activity ideas you can try at home to further support your child throughout the following half term.
